Vor gut einer Woche hat Twitter das neue Feature „Local Trends“ in das Twitter-Webinterface integriert. Diese Funktion erlaubt es euch beliebte Themen (TrendTopics) Länder und Städte übergreifen anzuschauen. Momentan ist die Liste der Länder und Städte noch sehr mager, auch Deutschland oder gar die Deutsche Hauptstadt Berlin fehlen noch. Ich denke aber, dass Twitter hier mit der Zeit nachbessern wird.

Local Trends will allow you to learn more about the nuances in our world and discover even more relevant topics that might matter to you. We’ll be improving this feature over time to provide more locations, languages, and data through our API.
